Egypt Allocates 5,000 Jobs for Sudanese

The ISNAD Initiative to support the Sudanese affected by the war has announced the continuation of support for weak and needy families with 5,000 food baskets from the Food Bank and 5,000 blankets provided by the Clothing Bank, in addition to other donations of baskets and blankets.

Meanwhile the initiative continued to support more than 90 dialysis patients, while an agreement was signed with the Producers Union to support the treatment of patients in a number of hospitals. Cases will begin to be transferred according to medical reports. The initiative’s performance report during the past period revealed coordination with the Health Committee to admit cancer patients by contributing to the high cost of treatment by contacting a number of charitable and therapeutic institutions. It announced continued efforts to allocate scholarships to students and reduce tuition fees.

Regarding training and employment, it revealed that institutions allocated 5,000 opportunities for workers, which were distributed to eligible ones.

It intends to coordinate efforts with businessmen in Egypt and enlighten them about the plans adopted by the Arab League.

Former Egyptian Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Initiative, Dr. Essam Sharaf, praised the efforts made by the committees and confirmed his readiness to contact the competent authorities to support the efforts.

Meanwhile, the Vice President of the Initiative, Dr. Mamdouh El-Arabi, presented a number of proposals related to medical treatment, education, and benefiting from the El-Arabi Group’s hospitals and schools, particularly as they support 25 kidney patients.
