Rufaa Markets Witnessing Stability

The markets of Rufaa town , east of Gezira State, witnessed remarkable stability in commodity prices despite the expansion of the war to Gezira State, though there are expectations about fuel crisis as stocks ran out.
A kilo of sugar settled at (2) thousand pounds, and a pound of coffee (2) thousand pounds.
However, the commodity of flour records a shortage of all types in the markets, and citizen Mawaddah Al-Amin indicated that the price of a liter of cooking oil in a 2-liter package reached 3,500 pounds.
Below are meat prices per killo. The price of a kilo of veal increased to 6,000 pounds, mutton 8,000 pounds, and chicken 6,000 pounds per kilo.
Meanwhile, prices of vegetables and fruits dropped dowb in terms of the fact that the town of Rufaa is one of the area that grow vegetables and fruits
Below are the house rents. Mawaddah explained that prices stabilized at 500 thousand pounds.
