Atbara Airport Rehabilitation, Launched

The Acting Governor of the River Nile State, Mohammed Al-Badawi Abdul Majid Abu Quroun has announced the launch of the airport rehabilitation and modernization project to accommodate the economic and investment movement taking place in the state.
He explained during an inspection visit (Sunday) that the rehabilitation and maintenance operations will take place through Zadna International Company in coordination with the state in order to expand and modernize the airport to receive all types of aircraft and provide all types and aviation-related services
The governor pointed out to the importance of the airport in the movement of exports and imports in light of the abundant production witnessed by the state and addressing the problem of marketing and connection to global markets.
He added that the airport is one of the important infrastructures that can be relied upon to stimulate economic and investment activity in the state.
