A Delegation from Taqaddum led by Hamdok visits Juba

The Civil Democratic Forces Coordination (Taqaddum) announced a visit of a delegation from the coordination led by Abdullah Hamdok, head of the leadership body, to Juba today (Wednesday) as an invitation from the government of the Republic of South Sudan.

The Coordination said in a press statement that the visit came in the context of Taqaddum external tours program to mobilize and integrate international and regional efforts to help in preferring the option of a peaceful solution to end the war in Sudan and address the catastrophic humanitarian situation that the people are suffering from, then create a negotiated political path to address the issues of the accumulated national crisis, and the collective establishment of a democratic, renaissance reality in a unified and stable homeland that accommodates all its people and provides them with the conditions for a decent life without discrimination or marginalization.

Since the outbreak of the war, Taqaddum has embarked on tours to many capitals and signed a declaration of principles with the leader of the RSF Militia, Mohamed Hamdan (Hemedti), in Addis Ababa.

It requested a meeting with the head of the Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, who insisted on refusing to meet with any groups outside Sudan or any… Imposed solutions, and he stressed that the solution to the crisis would be from within the country.
