Contact between Zidane and Bayern Munich

An Italian press report said, on Monday, that Bayern Munich has placed Frenchman Zinedine Zidane, former Real Madrid coach, on the list of candidates to succeed German Thomas Tuchel.
Bayern suffered 3 consecutive defeats against Bayer Leverkusen, Lazio and Bochum, in the German League and the Champions League, moving them away by 8 points from the top of the Bundesliga, and making their task of reaching the round of 16 in the continental championship difficult.
According to the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, things between Bayern and Tuchel have not been in the best condition during the recent period, which may prompt the club to dismiss its coach.
The newspaper confirmed that Bayern›s leaders have already contacted Frenchman Zinedine Zidane, the former coach of Real Madrid, in order to succeed Thomas Tuchel.
Zidane has not taken over the leadership of any team since his departure from coaching Real Madrid in the summer of 2021, as he was waiting to take over the leadership of the French national team to succeed Didier Deschamps, whose contract was renewed.
