Plans to Establish Alternative Slaughterhouses

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Livestock, Dr. Hassan Al-Toum, revealed a plan to establish alternative slaughterhouses to compensate for the slaughterhouses destroyed by the Rapid Support Militia in Khartoum.

He indicated in his speech to (Al-Ahdath) that including the Saudi Tala slaughterhouse in the Nile River State, which was opened to export the meat of 500 cows and 3,000 small animals per day, in addition to projects to rehabilitate the Gedaref slaughterhouse and expand its capacity, and it will enter service soon, in addition to licensing for the Abdat slaughterhouse on the island. Pointing out that there is a willingness to establish export slaughterhouses in Sennar State, White Nile State, and Blue Nile Region, to complete the export cycle by exporting from production sites.
