Ukrainian wheat shipment arrives in Sudan

A shipment of wheat donated by Ukraine has arrived in Port Sudan to support the operations of the United Nations World Food Program in Sudan.
A statement issued by the program stated that this in-kind food donation will be an essential part of the food rations provided to one million people affected by the conflict in Sudan for a month.
The German Foreign Ministry facilitated the provision of the shipment, covering the full operating costs amounting to 15 million euros, including expenses for transporting wheat from Ukraine to Sudan and distributing it within the country to those affected.
