The Sudanese mobile phone company – Zain – said that its network began gradually returning to the states after installing a new exchange in Port Sudan.
In the first phase, the network covers the states of: the Red Sea, Kassala, Gedaref, the North, and the River Nile .
Zain promised the great Sudanese people in a statement yesterday to overcome the technical challenges and difficulties of transportation and logistics to spread its coverage area to include all the cities and villages of the states of Sudan. It added that the gradual return of service today is only a first phase until the crisis is resolved and the service is stabilized in all the states of Sudan, with Allah will and strength.
Zain has warned its dear subscribers, in all transparency, that the gradual return to service will be accompanied by an absence and inability to provide some services at this phase , with some subscribers unable to use the remainder of their previous balances.
