Gasoline prices continue to increase

The General Administration of Transport and Petroleum in White Nile State announced (Wednesday) setting new prices for petrol and gasoline.

The Ministry of Finance, Economy and Manpower in the White Nile State, in charge of Fatima Al-Hajj Al-Tayeb, based on the recommendation approved by the Public Transport Development and Regulatory Council and the Economic and Special Committee to amend the price structure of fuel in the cities of Kosti, Rabak, Al-Qatina and Al-Duwaim.
The Director of the General Administration of Public Transport and Petroleum in the White Nile State, Abdel Basset Jaafar Ibrahim, said that the new pricing set the price of a gallon of gasoline at (8519) pounds and the price of a gallon of gasoline at (8156) pounds, provided that the purchase price for gasoline and free gasoline in the localities of (Tandalti, Um Rumta and Rifi) is added to the purchase price. Less than the price formula, and the price difference occurs in favor of the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The Director of the General Administration of Public Transport and Petroleum in White Nile State attributed the reasons for amending the price structure of fuel to the rise in fuel prices from Port Sudan.
