Eyewitnesses said that army forces SAFdelivered “crushing blows” to the Rapid Support Forces RSF that attacked the village of Dodiya in Al-Khoi locality in West Kordofan state, following the killing of five civilians in the village, last Thursday, by the Rapid Support forcces RSF
A Rapid Support force RSF seized fuel from a station located in the Dodiya area in Al-Khoi locality in West Kordofan state, last Thursday, at gunpoint, and killed five civilians, including the station supervisor, Wali Al-Din Ahmed Al-Sharif.
An eyewitness from the village of Al-Dudiyah in Al-Khoi locality said that dozens of vehicles belonging to the SAF and local (Al-Faza’a)forces went out to a wide area between the village of Umm Samima and the village of Al-Dudiyah in West Kordofan state, which are villages located on the road linking Al-Obeid and West Kordofan. Violent battles took place during which the army seized a Rapid Support Forces RSF camp.
Eyewitnesses said that the SAF and local volunteers in the fighting advanced towards areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces RSF and completely recovered these areas.
Checkpoints and levies set up by the Rapid Support Forces RSF on the main road near Umm Samima were also cancelled.
As a result of the levies imposed by the Rapid Support Forces RSF on the streets in West Kordofan, consumer and medicine prices increased by 150%, according to testimonies of residents in the region.
It was not possible to obtain an immediate comment from the Rapid Support Forces RSF regarding the attack they carried out on the village of Al-Doudia last Thursday, as a result of which five civilians were killed.
An eyewitness from the village of Umm Samima told Ultra Sudan that army forces arrived from Al Nahud to Umm Samima and Al Doudiyah, and hundreds of volunteers from the villages affected by the Rapid Support RSF attacks participated in the fighting.
