The Director General of Administrative Affairs and the official spokesman for the Ministry of Energy and Oil, Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Baqi, stressed the importance of workshops for excellence and the shift towards comprehensive quality to achieve the goals of the Ministry of Energy and Oil and companies operating in the oil sector, addressing a number of models for distributing the workforce in national and foreign oil companies; This came when he was addressing the second workshop entitled (The Oil Sector Transformation Project – for Administrative Leaders), which was organized at the Nile Petroleum Company buildings in Port Sudan under the patronage of the Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohieddin Naeem Mohamed Saeed, and was attended by business leaders in the oil sector in the ministry and companies.
The workshop was presented by Engineer Majdi Ali Khairy, a consultant for administrative systems, quality and excellence, explaining that the activities of this workshop dealt with European excellence that arose and developed from the experiences and successes of the largest international companies that were built on the basis of comprehensive quality frameworks, and worked on more than six hundred models of successful companies with a global reputation, enumerating concepts and principles of excellence, explaining the importance of establishing the habit of using the administrative tool “radar logic” among leaders and managers, which is considered a powerful administrative tool that helps leaders of institutions manage effectively in determining the desired results, explaining the path of steps from natural quality to sustaining excellence, addressing the obstacles to achieving comprehensive quality, which Among them is the lack of knowledge of these concepts and techniques.
The leaders of work in the oil sector in the Ministry and companies presented a number of models of distinguished administrative performance in national oil companies and partnerships with foreign companies, ensuring that these workshops would be benefited from in modernizing administrative work in preparation for the post-war phase to improve performance in light of the accelerating steps towards a new Sudan in administrative systems.
