The Jordanian national team achieved a major victory over its Pakistani counterpart with a score of 3-0 in the match that brought them together yesterday at Jinah Sports Stadium in the third round of the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Musa Al-Taamari scored the lead for the Jordanian national team against Pakistan in the 2nd minute of the first half of the match.
The Jordanian national team received a deserved penalty kick against Pakistan, from which Ali Alwan scored the second goal for Al-Nashami.
In the 86th minute, Musa Al-Taamari scored the third goal for the Jordanian national team inside Pakistan’s net, making the score 3-0 in favor of the former.
As a result, Jordan raised its score to 4 points also in the same qualifiers.
The Lebanese national team lost to its counterpart, the Australian national team, with a score of 2-0 in the ninth group competitions.
Australia topped Group Nine with 9 points, while the Lebanese team was in second place with two points, one point behind the Palestinian and Bangladesh teams before their match together.
