Al-Taayshi’s family is pursuing the militia legally

The family of Khalifa Abdullah Al-Taayshi condemned what it called the “barbaric behavior” of the Rapid Support RSF Militia by looting and vandalizing the Khalifa Abdullah’s House Museum.
The Taayshi family said in a statement that they will seek to communicate with interested organizations and bodies to take legal measures against this attack, as well as work to repair and return what was vandalized and looted.
An urgent appeal was launched to the President of the Sovereignty Council TSC Lt. Gen.Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, regarding the need to take the necessary measures to preserve the remaining antiquities currently inside the museum until the relevant civil institutions return.
The statement affirmed the importance of the Khalifa House Museum as an edifice and historical landmark that dates to an important era in the history of Sudan.
