Sudanese Government Cancels License of the “Sky News” channel

Foreign Media Council of the Sudanese Ministry of Culture and Information decided to cancel the license of the Emirati channel “Sky News Arabia”.
This step comes on the backdrop of the channel broadcasting a video it claimed was of ISIS members fighting alongside the armed forces SAF against the Rapid Support RSF Militia.
The Sudanese government rapidly issued a statement denying the matter, and accused the channel of lacking the minimum basics of professionalism and objectivity in covering Sudanese news.
