The price of the dollar in the parallel market witnessed a new rise after the decline in the past few days as purchase price of the US dollar reached 1,410 pounds, while the selling price reached 1,420 pounds.
Traders in the foreign exchange market attributed the rise to increased demand again.
The price of the Saudi riyal reached about 378.66 pounds, while the price of the Emirati dirham approached 386.92 pounds, and the price of the Qatari riyal increased until it reached approximately 389.04 pounds.
Currency prices in banks witnessed a variation, and the dollar was exchanged at a price of approximately 1,090 Sudanese pounds at the Bank of Khartoum, and rose to reach around 1,200 pounds at the Omdurman Bank, and the dollar approached 1,180 pounds at the Faisal Islamic Bank.
