Russia: Al-Burhan Officially Represents Sudan in International Arena

The Russian Ambassador to Sudan, Andrey Chernovol, has said that the army’s refusal to follow the example of the Westerners gave the green light for Rapid Support (RSF) to overthrow the stubborn generals in the army – as he put it -.
The Russian Ambassador added in an interview with the Russian TASS agency, “The story that Sudan is secretly supplying weapons to Ukraine in the war against Russia. This story is very vulgar. It was made in the style of tabloid journalism, and is regularly exaggerated in the Western media in order to spoil the development of relations between Russia and Sudan Russia.”
He continued, “We are in close contact with the President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Al-Burhan, who officially represents the country in the international arena. As for Hemedti, we have not received any requests for assistance from him, even though outside Sudan he is actively communicating with Westerners and Africans.”
