Harvesting 1,440 acres of wheat in the Al-Barqiq agricultural project

Wheat harvesting operations began in the Al-Barqiq agricultural project in the northern state, in an area of 1,440 acres.
The director of the Al-Barqiq Agricultural Project, Engineer Mohamed Salah, praised the support provided by the World Food Program through the technical committee for the emergency wheat project in the state, which came through the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources in the state, represented by the in-kind support represented by improved wheat seeds, along with fertilizer in both the urea and dub. He said that this support was a major reason for the success of the season, while productivity was abundant and promising, as the average productivity of one acre reached more than (20) sacks, indicating that this support was provided in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is experiencing. He called for continued support during the current summer season.
