The Minister of Livestock and Pastures in the Nile River State, Dr. Najda Arbab, announced the full direction of introducing livestock production projects and industries based on it.
When she met with the founder of the National Community-Based Captive Production Project, Elias Abdel-Rahman, she announced that her ministry supports captive production and women’s development because they achieve food security, and that the National Community-based Project for Captive Production and the National Community-Based Initiative to Achieve Food Security are qualified to move forward to make significant additions in the field of animal production and small industries.
She announced the ministry’s readiness to provide aid and assistance to expatriate families, and added that the ministry’s plan, which was approved by the state government’s Council of Ministers, includes family production projects in all fields, “poultry, fish, and industries of dairy and meat products.” She stressed the keenness of the governor of the state, Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdul Majid, to support productive family programs, considering that they are the most important tools for achieving food security.
Najda confirmed that the coming days will witness the beginning of providing “Al-Saanin” to families, and that the first phase includes three localities, Al-Damer, Shindi, and Al-Buhaira.
