Expectations of a new rise in dollar prices

Foreign currency prices continued to rise against the exchange rate of the Sudanese pound in the parallel (unofficial) markets, as the selling price of the US dollar exceeded 1,440 pounds, with expectations that it will continue to rise, while the purchasing price reached 1,420 pounds.

Traders in the foreign exchange market told Al-Ahdath Network that Thursday’s trading in the parallel market witnessed an additional increase, as the price of the Saudi riyal reached 378.66 pounds, while the price of the Emirati dirham rose to nearly 386.92 pounds. At a time when the price of the Qatari riyal also recorded an increase, after reaching about 389.04 pounds.

Al-Ahdath monitored an increase in the exchange rate in banks after the price of the US dollar reached 1,120 pounds in the Bank of Khartoum, while its price in Omdurman Bank rose to about 1,200 pounds and reached about 1,180 pounds in Faisal Bank.
