A Meeting Chaired by Jaber Discusses a Report on Paris Conference

Member of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General, Marine Engineer Advisor Ibrahim Jaber, has chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Dealing with the United Nations Mission.

The meeting touched on the importance of highlighting statistics on the humanitarian work carried out in Sudan and the weaknesses and shortcomings, and stressed the need to revitalize diplomatic work and efforts at pivotal diplomatic stations.

The meeting stressed the need to activate the media plan to confront calls for humanitarian aid for other purposes and to control internal and external discourse, especially with regard to the violations committed against women and children, the occupation of citizens’ homes, and pivotal issues related to state sovereignty, as well as the issue of equality between rebellion and state authority.

The Acting Minister of Information, the official spokesman for the committee, Graham Abdul Qader, explained in a press statement that the meeting discussed a detailed report on the Paris conference, what took place in it, the state’s opinion on the conference and its outcomes, and the follow-ups that must take place to strengthen the national will.

He added that the meeting discussed the follow-up report of the efforts of the National Coordination Group of Experts on Resolution 1591.
