On Thursday morning, army warplanes launched an attack on three military sites of the Rapid Support militia (RSF) in the city of Nyala, the capital of South Darfur state, causing heavy losses in lives, military vehicles, and supply trucks.

A military official told “Sudan Tribune” that “warplanes intensively bombed three camps in the city of Nyala, which are Domaya in the west and Kishlingo, southeast of Nyala, in addition to the Shadeeda camp north of the city.”

He noted that the camps include more than 6,000 mobilized, gathered by local leaders who support the RSF Militia.

He pointed out that the operation achieved its objectives by dispersing the tribal mobilisers, in addition to destroying military vehicles and supply trucks that were planning to reach the theaters of operations in North Darfur, Kordofan and Khartoum.
