Stock Markets Authority: Exporting 7 Tons of Gold is A Good Thing
Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
The head of the Stock Markets Authority, Dr. Shawqi Azmi, described achieving a total gold export of around 7 tons of gold within three months as a good thing in light of the circumstances that Sudan is currently going through, and the exit of some mining areas from work, especially in some western states, while the state did not announce about the new policies that limit smuggling operations across borders, especially by land.
Shawqi predicted in his speech to (Sudan Events) that after the end of the war, the determination will be available to control the closure of smuggling routes and develop rational policies that will enable the state to control export revenues, while at the same time encouraging producers to increase the volume of gold production and benefit from it in minting and the manufacture of sovereign funds in joint cooperation between the state and the private sector.
