The Acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Hussein Awad, has received a congratulatory cable from Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, on the occasion of his appointment to the position of Foreign Minister.
The Russian Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s determination to strengthen the friendly relations that traditionally bind the two countries.
He renewed his country’s support for Sudan to achieve peace and national consensus.
