Laporta officially announces that Xavi will continue as Barcelona coach

Spanish club Barcelona president Joan Laporta officially announced yesterday, Thursday, that Xavi Hernandez, coach of the Catalan team, will continue in his position during the next season until 2025, at the end of his contract. “Everyone in the administration was very happy with Deco’s decision and the entire sports administration supported the continuation of Xavi, and the Barcelona club president continued: He enjoys the confidence of all members of the Board of Directors, and his continuation guarantees the stability of the project.” Laporta added in a press conference held with Xavi yesterday.
