The Discourse of Oppression will not Benefit you, Politicians of FFC, and Tagadum
By: Amgad Fareid Eltayeb
The civilian self-victimhood narrative that politicians of the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC), and Tagadum coalition attempt to use to elicit public sympathy by presenting themselves as forces representing civilians and revolutionary directions will not benefit them as long as they continue to adopt a politically biased line that favors one side of the war and provides cover and justification for the Rapid Support Forces (#RSF) militia in its war in #Sudan. This political line adopted by them, which did not begin with the falsification of statements and the fabrication of rape incidents attributed to one side in order to justify the crimes of the other side at the beginning of the first days of the outbreak of the war, and did not end with the adoption and repetition of the war propaganda discourse of the militia leader, as their official spokesman Bakri Al-Jak did, who was not ashamed to repeat Hemidti’s propaganda about the fall of the engineers’ corps into the hands of the Rapid Support Forces and added to it the myth of attributing the information to reliable Western sources, seeking credibility derived from the complex of the foreigner, which turned out to be a complete lie after several days and we did not hear any clarification from the official spokesman of Taqadum, and even the discourse of rewriting history that is currently being promoted about linking this war to the conflict between the peripheries and the center, which tries to grant the RSF the nobility of the revolutions of the margin – both peaceful and armed according to one of them expression – in a blatant deception of the nature of this war as a struggle for power between two bad sides. This institutional political line, which strives hard to grant the Rapid Support Forces the legitimacy of political survival despite all the atrocities and violations committed against the Sudanese people, is the point of contention with the politicians of Taqadum and the power centers of the forces of freedom and change, and it’s dangerous discourse and line because is that it establishes the end of the war through a new agreement of power and influence division between the armed parties, with granting these civilian justifiers a piece of the power cake, as a reward for this deception.
This line is an institutional responsibility of (Taqadum) that is not limited to Taha Ishaq or Al-Taaishi or Nasr al-Din AbdelBari or Yassir Arman to the end of the list of freak individuals who are directly linked to the formulation and promotion of this line who are directly aligned with the RSF in the ranks of Taqadum. It is a responsibility that extends to all those who are part of this alliance who ignore this discourse or repeat it with unparalleled absolute faith, while on the other hand, they talk about their pursuit to reform the Taqadum from within and cut its connection with the RSF. Taqadum simply cannot claim to represent civilians after its components – individually and grouped – failed to side with or even sympathize with civilian citizens amidst the suffering they are enduring in the course of this war, and furthermore sought political gain from the humanitarian situation while watering down the violations and justifying them, and in some cases denying them altogether in the midst of this accursed war.
This political line, which falsely the slogan of rejecting the war while its content is a blatant bias for the worst of its parties, is the question, and this situation will not be rectified by promoting their victimhood through personal relationships or emissaries or character assassination and distorting the positions of others. It is a danger to the country and its future that must be confronted to expose it, change it, and end it completely, just like confronting the claims and narratives of the war parties.
Reform yourselves and be upright, as this is more beneficial for our people and yourselves than your continuation in this deception.
