A Banking Expert Reveals Reasons for Fleeing of Investments

Banking expert Walid Dalil has acknowledged that national investments were affected by the repercussions of the war in Sudan.
In his interview with Sudan Events, he confirmed that there were a number of reasons that caused the fleeing of national capital earlier to neighboring countries, and he stressed that the most important of these reasons were levies and unfair taxes and fees.
He considered that the problems of the private sector in Sudan and the main problem that is not addressed are the multiple levies that affect profits and which the citizen bears in the form of increased prices of goods.
Dalil stressed the need for tax and fee estimates to be reasonable and fair.
He called on state officials to re-assess these levies in order to encourage national capital to enter the market and increase productivity.
