Foreign currency prices continued to rise as the value of the Sudanese pound continued to deteriorate after the war entered its second year.
The selling price of the dollar was 1,700 pounds, while the buying price was 1,680 pounds. The prices of the rest of the currencies rose, and the price of the Saudi riyal reached 448 pounds, while the Emirati dirham rose to reach 457.76 pounds. The value of the Qatari riyal increased to reach 460.27 pounds, while the Omani riyal recorded a significant jump, reaching its value to 4421.05 pounds. The price of the Egyptian pound reached a ceiling of 40 Sudanese pounds.
In the official market, the price of the dollar reached about 1,255 pounds in “Bank of Khartoum,” while it reached 1,260 pounds in “Omdurman National Bank,” and 1,260 pounds in Faisal Bank.”
