New Fuel Prices on River Nile State

The Public Transport and Petroleum Department of the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the River Nile State issued a new decision to price petroleum products at service stations.
The decision stated that the price of a liter of gasoline in the Shendi and Al-Mattama localities amounted to 1,857 pounds, while the price of a liter of gasoline in the Al-Damer locality was set at 1,844 pounds, and in Abu Hamad, 1,857 pounds.
At a time when the decision set the price of a liter of benzene in the Shendi and Al-Matama localities at 1,932 pounds, while its price in the Al-Damer locality was set at 1,919 pounds, and it was set at 1,924 pounds in Abu Hamad.
The administration threatened to take legal measures against anyone who violates this price and impose a fine of one million pounds, doubling it and withdrawing the commercial license if it is repeated.
Last month, gas stations in Shendi locality, River Nile State, imposed a new increase in the prices of benzene and gasoline, as the price of a gallon of benzene reached 7,500 pounds, compared to 6,100 pounds, while the price of a gallon of gasoline increased by 7,000 pounds.
