Real Madrid intends to celebrate its crowning of the Spanish Football League title when it visits Granada after Saturday in the thirty-fifth round of the competition.
Real Madrid won the Spanish League title after beating Cadiz 3-0, and Barcelona lost to Girona 4-2.
Real Madrid enters the match against Granada ecstatic that it qualified for the Champions League final after beating Bayern Munich 2-1 in the second leg of the semi-finals of the tournament. Italian Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s coach, wants to achieve victory over Granada, celebrate the league title and qualify for the Champions League final, and not spoil the fans’ joy. Perhaps Ancelotti will rotate the players in order to give them a chance to catch their breath before playing in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on June 1.
On the other hand, the Granada team is looking forward to winning the match in order to preserve its slim chance of remaining in the first division. Granada occupies the nineteenth place from last with 21 points, 11 points behind Real Mallorca, which occupies the first places in the warm zone.
In La Liga, Las Palmas will also meet Real Mallorca, Sevilla will play against Villarreal, and Osasuna will face Athletic Bilbao.
