Northern State Governor Inaugurates Corn Harvest

The Governor of the Northern State, Abdeen Awadallah, has confirmed that the steps to add 300 megawatts from the Arab Republic of Egypt are progressing well, pledging to solve the problems facing investment projects, especially the electrical current. He said that investment in the Northern State has started strongly, considering the Rasiyat project (west of Dongola) one of the strategic investment projects successful in the field of agricultural and livestock production.
During his inauguration, on Sunday, of the corn project harvest operations, which have a total area of 46 thousand fedans, he praised the efforts and support of the Export Development Group for the various fields of work in the state.
He said that the project primarily targets the production of fodder and animal husbandry for export.
For his part, the Minister of Production and Economic Resources in charge of the North, Hussein Abdul Ghafour, confirmed that the project is witnessing remarkable development, thanks first to God Almighty, then to the efforts and interest of those responsible for it, and the cooperation of the state government, represented by the Ministries of Investment and Production.
While the Minister of Investment and Industry in charge of the Northern State, Omar Ali Saleh, explained that the Rasiyat project west of Dongola represents one of the successful real investment models in the field of agricultural and livestock production, stressing that the project is progressing well in completing its infrastructure to advance the production process and provide training opportunities for young people and gain experience that will help them in The labor market, pointing to the continuation of the existing partnership between the Ministry of Investment and Industry and the Export Development Group. In turn, the Executive Director of Dongola Locality, Makkawi Al-Khair Al-Waqee, confirmed that the Rasiyat project is one of the strategic projects in Dongola Locality, indicating the continuation of his locality’s efforts and cooperation with the project management to advance production and the economy in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through and to move forward in providing basic services in the project.
