Saudi Arabia Calls for a “Sudanese-Sudanese” Dialogue

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed its concern about the continuation of military battles in Sudan, and called for upholding the option of peaceful solutions and “Sudnese-Sudanese” dialogue.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan said in a speech before the Arab Summit in Manama, on Tuesday, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supports a peaceful solution in Sudan.
Bin Farhan stressed the need to protect civilians and humanitarian workers in Sudan, and preserve the infrastructure.
He called on the warring parties to reach a peaceful solution and negotiations, while respecting the sovereignty and unity of Sudan and its national institutions.
In this context, the Saudi minister called in statements for the necessity of returning to dialogue to reach a political solution in Sudan.
He added, “The solution to the crisis in Sudan is a Sudanese political solution that respects the unity of the country and its institutions.”
