Government: Resuming Pumping South Sudan Oil Soon

Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Malik Aqar Aer, has pledged to overcome all obstacles and challenges to restart the pipeline carrying South Sudanese oil through Sudanese territory as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the Acting Minister of Energy and Oil, Muhyiddin Naeem Mohamed Saeed, affirmed the Ministry’s keenness and serious endeavor to operate the line, and extended an invitation to the Vice President of the Sovereign Council and the Government of South Sudan to examine the process of resuming oil pumping soon.
During his meeting in his office in Port Sudan (Wednesday), Agar received an enlightenment on the progress of work and the operational plan to repair the line transporting South Sudanese crude oil.
