Two people were killed and 8 others were injured, including the commander of the Al-Baraa Battalion, Al-Misbah Abu Zaid, as a result of a traffic accident involving the vehicle carrying them in Al-Shouk area.
The injured were transferred to Kassala Hospital to receive treatment.
According to the police press office, the causes of the accident were due to a tire explosion, which led to the vehicle overturning.
Immediately after the accident occurred, the Kassala Highway Traffic Police took all necessary legal and traffic measures.
