Communist to (Sudan Events): The Nairobi Declaration Laid the Foundation for Fragmentation and Fission
Sudan Events – Aya Ibrahim
Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Kamal Karar, said that the Nairobi Declaration signed between Abdul Wahid Mohamed Nour and Abdallah Hamdouk circumvented the issue of holding criminals and murderers accountable and called the crimes humanitarian violations. It also did not address dissolving the militias or removing the two sides of the war from any political equation.
Karar pointed out to (Sudan Events) that the declaration raised issues under the name of a founding process, which are issues whose place is the constitutional conference, and he added, “With its emphasis on the unity and sovereignty of the country, it laid the foundation for fragmentation and division when it proposed self-determination in the event that the constitution does not include specific requirements.”
He continued, “It is correct to adhere to the civil state, citizenship, freedoms, and others, and to defeat the totalitarian or religious state projects without fleeing forward, especially since most of the revolutionary forces support these demands and goals.”
