Qatar Hosts an Economic Forum to Strengthen Trade ties with Sudan

Qatar has renewed its hosting next week of an economic forum aimed at strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries.
The Qatari Minister of Finance, Ali Bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, confirmed during his meeting with the Sudanese Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, on the sidelines of the meetings of the Arab financial bodies in Cairo, that investment opportunities in Sudan will be discussed.
The two parties discussed several issues related to the economic situation in Sudan after the war period and ways to enhance trade cooperation between the two countries. The strong fraternal relations between the two countries were emphasized and the desire to enhance cooperation in various fields such as minerals, agriculture and infrastructure was exchanged.
The two ministers expressed their wishes for peace and recovery for Sudan after the war period, and stressed their readiness to work jointly to achieve economic development and stability in the region.
