Minister of Energy: We will work hard to stop the partial power outage

Minister of Energy and Petroleum Muhyiddin Naiem Mohamed Saeed said that they will work hard to reduce and stop the partial power outage, particularly in the summer.
On Thursday, the Minister of Energy inspected the Nile River Electricity Distribution Department, Control Office, and reviewed the work done at the Atbara Transformer Station, and reassured himself about the conditions in the lines and distribution stations in light of the increased loads due to the high temperature, and witnessed the completion of all procedures and technical tests to introduce a transformer with a capacity of five megavolt amperes.
The Director of theRiver Nile Distribution Department, Eng.Ammar Mohamed Al-Hassan, said that after the new transformer enters, the situation will be sufficient to improve electricity and stop the partial power outage.
The Minister reassured himself about the Damar Department, Berber and Abu Hamad Office, and the Shendi Distribution Station and the completion of work in it to accommodate the additional loads required for the agricultural and industrial sectors. He reviewed the work program during the Eid days, and followed up on maintenance, reports, sales windows, and the progress of work in introducing electricity to the Buhaira and Jazirah Shiri areas in the Manasir area.
