Chief of Staff of the Sudanese Army SAF Lt. Gen.Mohamed Osman Al-Hussein, and members of the staff, extended their warmest congratulations to the commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the SAF and the joint forces of the armed struggle movements on their decisive victory achieved in the city of El Fasher over the mercenaries of the terrorist Daglo family militia.
The Chief of Staff affirmed in a statement on Friday that the western gate of the homeland will remain guarded by the heroes of the Western Region Sword and the heroes of the joint forces, and behind them the citizens of the Darfur region.
He said that they set the most wonderful examples of patience and steadfastness and succeeded in thwarting and destroying the militia’s continuous attacks on the city of Fasher Al-Sultan in order to preserve the unity of Sudan, renewing the pledge that the Western Sword will always be on time to write the final word in the battle of national dignity.
