Minister of Agriculture reveals to (Sudan Events ) new information about the Summer season

Sudanese Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Professor Abu Bakr Omar Al-Bushra , announced securing the arrival of (10,000 tons of various improved seeds for small farmers in the country as support from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
He said in a statement to (Sudan Events ) that this quantity covers many of the needs of small farmers in the safe states, noting that the seeds will be distributed upon their arrival, and expressed his optimism about the success of the summer season, especially food grains.
He appreciated the efforts of the FAO and its cooperation with Sudan and its interest in agricultural production in such circumstances that the country is going through.
The Minister explained that this quantity is the same as the previous year, and stressed their serious efforts to provide support that enables increasing green spaces and increasing productivity to reach self-sufficiency, particularly in food grains, and renewed his pledges to his ministry’s interest in small producers spread throughout the country.
Minister of Agriculture revealed that he is continuing to expedite the provision of seeds on time.
