Decisions to control Foreign Presence in Gedarif

Acting governor of Gedarif, Maj. Gen.l, (Rtd) Mohamed Ahmed Hassan Ahmed, issued a state decision to form the Zakat Trustees Board in the state from the following names: the governor of Gedarif as chairman, the secretary of the Zakat Office in the state as a member and rapporteur, the head of the judiciary as a member, the director of the state police as a member, the director general of the Ministry of Health and Social Development as a member, the director general of the Ministry of Finance and Manpower as a member, the director of the state Tax Office as a member, Al-Sadig Mohamed Ahmed Al-Sharif as a member, Mohamed Al-Tayeb Al-Bashir as a member, Omar Majzoub Haj Ali as a member, the head of the Supreme Council for Religious Affairs and Endowments as a member, Omar Mohamed Hamad Abu San as a member, and Rabie Ali Haren Abkar as a member.
The decision canceled all previous decisions related to the formation of the Zakat Trustees Board in the state.
The acting governor of Gedarif also issued a state decision to form a committee to control foreign presence in the state, headed by the Secretary-General of the state government, the Director of the Passports and Immigration Department as a member and rapporteur, and other members.
The committee’s tasks and responsibilities include controlling foreign presence, reviewing Sudanese identity, and following up on the recommendations of the workshop to control foreign presence.
