Argentina’s goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez, continued his brilliant saves in the penalty shootout, along with his unique personality, leading his country to cross the hurdle of Ecuador, which nearly snatched away the joy of the tango after scoring a goal in stoppage time of the match, so penalty kicks were resorted to. Messi missed the first kick for Argentina, but the goalkeeper, Depo Martinez, was present strongly after he blocked the first two kicks from the feet of the Ecuadorian players, leading the Tango to the semi-finals of the Copa America 2024. Martinez showed an amazing gesture after the referee blew the final whistle of the match, announcing that the Tango had won the match, as he went to Alexandre Dominguez, the Ecuadorian goalkeeper, to console him, after his country’s team lost championship.
