Satti: Keenness in Addis Conference to expand participation to end to Suffering of the Sudanese People

Head of the preparatory meeting for the Sudanese political dialogue in Addis Ababa, Ambassador Noureddine Satti, said that the participants in the preparatory conference for the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue were keen to expand participation to achieve the interests of the Sudanese people and put an end to their suffering due to the war, noting that the presidency of the sessions will submit the recommendations agreed upon by the participants in the preparatory dialogue to the African High-Level Committee on the Sudanese crisis.
He added that the agenda of the meeting in Addis Ababa was limited to the tasks of arranging for the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue and the role of the World community in ways to establish peace and its mechanisms and relief and humanitarian aid work, noting that the political and civil powers listened in the opening session to speeches from the organizers and then the participants were included in the preparatory work where the participants agreed to chair the sessions by Ambassador Noureddine Satti with the participation of Sultan Siddiq Wadaa, Magda Awad Khojali, Priest Ezz El-Din El-Tayeb and Youssef Abdullah Karbino.
The conference participants engaged in a discussion on the proposed agenda and the topics of discussion were adopted to reach a consensus on them, namely the participants in the Sudanese-Sudanese political dialogue, the issues of dialogue, the place of dialogue, the time of dialogue, and the role of the African Union AU and the international community in the Sudanese dialogue. It is worth noting that the preparatory conference for the Sudanese political dialogue was concluded in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, at the invitation of the African Union AU on the 10th of this July, and will continue until the 15th of it, with the attendance of a number of political and civil powers and representatives of youth, women, and civil society organizations.
