The Security Cell in Khartoum Arrests a Large Number of Militia Members and Collaborators

The Security Cell in Khartoum state revealed arrest of a large number of rebel militia members and their collaborators of both males and females who had infiltrated from enemy areas, and follow-ups are still ongoing to arrest those revealed by the defendants’ confessions.
Khartoum state said that those who registered confessions will be brought to fair trials, while those against whom no crimes have been proven have been released.
The cell also arrested quantity of looted goods, fuel, gold, silver and weapons, as some goldsmiths and brokers buy stolen gold and silver jewelry, and the amount of gold seized amounted to 2 kilos and silver 2 kilos and 355 grams, in addition to SDGs7 million, 500 Qatari riyals, 200 Saudi riyals and 3 pistols.
The Security Committee for Coordination of Security Affairs in Khartoum state called on citizens to cooperate with the security cell and report any negative phenomena or suspicious movements or dormant cells, in support of efforts to secure the state and protect citizens from terrorism, murder, theft and rape, which has become a criminal behavior associated with the militia.
The security cell said that in the coming days it will publish telephone numbers, a website and an email to receive citizens’ reports.
