Warnings of the continued Deterioration of the Pound

Former Secretary-General of the Tax Bureau, economic expert Dr. Abdul Qader Mohamed Ahmad warned of the continued deterioration of the pound and its crossing of SDGs 2600 barrier.
Pointing to the unprecedented increase in commodity prices, he said, “No one is moving a finger”
Demanding the dismissal of the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan (CBS)he said: In all parts of the world, the Governor of the Central Bank (CB) is dismissed in the event of a deterioration in the exchange rate, except in Sudan.
He criticized the printing of the new thousand pound denomination and said that it is the main reason for the deterioration of the exchange rate.
He downplayed the efforts of the Central Bank (CB )with some security agencies to arrest currency traders in Port Sudan and said that the move will not defeat the dollar as currency trading is now managed by all countries, particularly refuge countries, through (Bankak ) application and there is no way to stop it. Those who trade are the ones who looted the money, as they buy dollars and gold and smuggle them to neighboring countries without supervision or accountability.
He said that the economic battle is the weakest link and it is the one that will bring the country a source of destruction after the victory in the battle of dignity soon, Allah willing.
