Paris Olympics ceremony… for 6 km on 85 boats and in the presence of more than 100 heads of state

The world is awaiting the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, for the first time in history outside the stadium walls, in the tournament that will be held from July 26 to August 11.
The ceremony will begin next Friday at 7:30 pm on the Seine River in a show that will last for 3 hours and 45 minutes, showcasing delegations of athletes over a distance of more than 6 kilometers on 85 boats, and will receive the largest live television coverage, by the audio-visual company affiliated with the International Olympic Committee, in charge of In production, there will be 8 drones, 3 helicopters, and 4 fixed boats equipped with specially designed camera systems to cover the ceremony, and more than 200 smartphones will be installed on the boats, to provide a unique perspective of the concert to a billion viewers.
“The ceremony will be held on the banks and bridges of the French capital, and about 3,000 dancers and actors will present 12 artistic paintings that celebrate the athletes, tell the story of France and celebrate the whole world united.” The ceremony’s designer, Thomas Joly, said.
The organizers promised an unparalleled show, unlike past editions of the Olympics. The procession will start from the Austerlitz Bridge, passing through the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and many of the historical landmarks of the French capital, all the way to the Eiffel Tower. In the presence of more than 100 heads of state and government, more than 300,000 spectators will follow it on the banks of the Seine, adding that 80 huge screens will be placed along the route. 10,500 athletes will participate in it, and 222,000 people will receive free invitations, while 104,000 people will have to buy tickets.
