Bakeries Union in Kassala leads An initiative to provide Bread to the IDPs

Head of the Bakeries Owners Union in Kassala state, Salah Ibrahim Al-Hajj (Al Umda), announced the establishment of arrangements and an initiative to contribute to providing bread daily to the charity kitchen at the Industrial School Shelter Center in Al-Tu’ra neighborhood in Kassala city.
Al-Hajj said in press statements after his visit to the charity kitchen affiliated with the Industrial School Shelter Center that the visit comes in the context of implementing the permanent directives of the Governor of Kassala to stand with the guests of the state (the IDPs), adding that the arrangements for the initiative include placing bags in each bakery for the purpose of collecting pieces of bread by involving the citizen in this work addition to the contribution of the bakery owner.
He revealed that the number of bakeries in Kassala locality alone is about (850) bakeries, in addition to bakeries in other localities.
Salah called on companies and flour agents to contribute to this initiative, noting that these bakeries have continued to play their full role in providing bread to citizens.
