(7) Tons of Expired Food Items Destroyed

Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization ( SSMO)destroyed (7) tons of spoiled and expired food items in Karima office.
Director of the Organization’s Office in Karima, Al-Hadi Ibrahim, revealed that the destruction of the quantities seized during the periodic campaigns to combat goods that do not meet specifications was carried out with the participation of the competent Public Prosecutor, the Executive Director of Karima Unit, Health and the Investigation Police.
While the Director of the Organization’s Sector in the Northern state, Abdul-Azim Ismail, affirmed the continuation of intensive efforts and coordination with the authorities in the state to implement specifications and standards and promote the national economy.
