The Federal Ministry of Health announced that it had monitored (41) suspected cases of cholera in Kassala state.

This came in a report by the Federal Emergency Operations Center, which held its weekly meeting on Tuesday.

The Federal Ministry of Health monitored three new suspected cases of cholera last week in Kassala and Wad Al-Hilo localities, while dengue fever cases declined with one new case recorded during the week.

The ministry’s report indicated that Kassala State, among five other states, was affected by floods and rains, and the states recorded eight deaths and (83) injuries. The report pointed out that facilities, homes and toilets were affected by floods and rains.
