“IGAD”: Our Contacts with Burhan and Hemediti continue to stop the War

Special Envoy of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) for Sudan, Lawrence Korbandi, affirmed continuation of contacts with both President of the Transitional Sovereign Council TSC , Commander of the SAF , Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces RSF Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (Hemediti) through official channels, dedicated to stopping the war around the world.
Korbandi explained, according to “Sudan Tribune”, that IGAD is committed to resolving the conflict in Sudan, noting that the war has negatively affected neighboring countries, adding: “Of course, there are contacts taking place here and there, despite the freeze on membership.”
The Special Envoy revealed that he is in contact with the commanders of the SAF and the Rapid Support Forces RSF through official channels to stop the war running in the country.
Korbandi explained according to (Sudan Tribune) that IGAD is committed with solving the conflict in Sudan pointing out the current war in Sudan has negatively affected on the neighbouring countries adding that there are contacts here and there despite freezing of the membership.
The special envoy revealed that he is in contact with the SAF and the RSF through official channels.
He believed that the multiplicity of initiatives may distract and prolong the conflict, and called for coordination between the various organizations.
The South Sudanese diplomat indicated to the humanitarian crisis resulted from the war and its impact on the infrastructure and increase of displacement.
He affirmed that IGAD is working to stop the war through communication with the regional and international partners.also sent a message to the Humanities Company behind the war, and works on the Internet and the Internet.
He explained that there are intersections between the various initiatives, and that the leadership is present in the program that ensures all social sustainability.
The Special Envoy indicated that his goal is IGAD to stop the war and alleviate the Sudanese people’s representative. He described the situation in Sudan as “catastrophic in every sense of the word”, and called for an urgent ceasefire and other conditions.
Korbandi also affirmed that the leadership is working with the African Union to prepare for the liberation journey of the Sudanese dialogue, and that all the forces working in the workforce will be allowed to participate and express their vision.
I repeat that their goal is to facilitate the dialogue between the Sudanese, and that its contents “belong to the Sudanese and their philosophical and civil powers.
