Rains cause Weakness of Commercial Activity in the Northern

The recent rains in the Northern state caused weak commercial activity and the absence of merchants (fresh) in the markets of Al-Barqiq and Arqo.

The prices of meat and fuel witnessed a noticeable increase, and the merchant Abdel Halim pointed out the scarcity of some goods in the markets due to the closure of roads after the war.

He explained that some vegetables witnessed a slight decrease in prices, as a kilo of eggplant reached SDGs 2,000 , while the prices of mangoes rose from SDGs 8,000 to 12,000 per dozen.

The kilo of bananas reached SDGs 3,000

With an increase in soap prices, as a carton of laundry soap rose from SDGs 21,000 to 25,000

And an increase in cooking oil 4 liters to SDGs19,000 .

In addition to a slight increase in meat, as a kilo of lamb recorded SDGs 15 ,000 instead of 14,000, and veal to SDGs 13,000, and

An increase in onions to SDGs 4,000 per quarter.
