Militia Shelling Kills Family in Omdurman

Residents reported that artillery shelling by the Rapid Support Forces militia on Karari locality and neighborhoods in Omdurman on Wednesday night led to the death of a family in Block 75.

A resident of Karari locality told “Ultra Sudan” that a shell fell on a house in Block 75, Omdurman, killing a woman and two of her siblings instantly. Neighbors were unable to provide help because the shell fell directly on the house.

Yasser, who lives in Karari locality, said the shelling began at noon and resumed in the evening, confirming that the shelling of residential areas is systematic by the Rapid Support Forces militia to force residents to flee and to create the impression that Karari locality is unsafe.
